Take that, #LinkedIn .

Way too much of this drivel has always been more or less staged and centered around many of my own past experiences in the superfluous, buzzy world of graphic design (I was a senior graphic designer for over 20-plus years). Let’s just say that I know a hell of a lot about what it’s like to sleep overnight on the lobby sofa and eat ramen noodles for breakfast, lunch, and dinner lasting months on end. Add to all of that, my own attendance at scrum gatherings where I spent a good amount of time attempting to explain “designer” stuff and actual design theory (academic design theory, that is) to non-designers — it was enough to make me question my life choices (such as, “how in the hell did I get here?”).

Oh yeah, I miss California like crazy.

Enough! The above character count should be sufficient to satisfy the fucking Algo. Sorry, none of my comic strips are ever poised to pass the “2-minute read” threshold for page length. They’re not meant to. It’s a fucking comic strip!
